8.2 Ingenieurpartnerschaft Obst & Ziehmann GmbH, which was founded in 2003 is part of the 8.2 Consulting AG, which traces its origin back to 1995 with the foundation of the first office. Today, 8.2 Obst & Ziehmann employs over 20 staff members with a PV department consisting of 13 experts and was the start of PV activities for the 8.2 Group in 2005. 8.2 Obst & Ziehmann is the main office for PV in the Group. As aconsequence, 8.2 have relevant skills and know-how for the evaluation of the entire process from site development over technology design and concepts to finance. 22 engineering offices with 150 employees and 100 graduated engineers are working together under the umbrella of the 8.2 Group. Working as independent experts the 8.2 team has advised on solar, wind and off-shore wind subjects and issues to all relevant investment banks, investors, equipment providers, independent power companies, and project developers in Germany and several other countries.
